Fast Eddies Fried Chicken, may not be the healthiest choice for food, but it sure is tasty. I'll admit the majority of their menu is fried foods, but it is all done fresh and is pretty tasty. Best of all, it is affordable. When I am craving fried chicken, Fast Eddies is my go to. They only have walk-up window service, but it is quick and easy. I live approximately 10 minutes away and my food is still warm when I get home to enjoy it. I usually always order the white box, but sometimes I do the regular when I want a thigh. My recent visit, I went with the white box and when I got home, I noticed a red stamp on top of my box. When I read it, it said, " Smaller Pieces So You Got An Extra Piece For No Additional Charge". IMO, that is excellent customer service. If they didn't do this, I would have been none the wiser. It did prove to me, that size does matter. This visit, was also the first time I ordered the onion rings. They were not house made, they came from a bag. For being straight out of a bag, they really hit the spot and satisfied my craving. The staff is friendly and you can see them all hustling to move the line quickly. Trust me, when ever you go, there will be a line. Next visit, I think I'll be ordering from the seafood menu. It is time to expand my Fast Eddies palate.

First time going there yesterday and I must say who ever cooked that chicken, definitely knew what they were doing! It was delicious and big portions for the price! I recommend and will definitely return!!

Old style fried chicken fast food place with also shrimp meals, hot dogs and hamburgers, shakes & soda crinkle fries with each meal reasonable prices. No inside service as run from an old drive up stand. Has changed ownership and has limited hours typically 11-7. Great chicken and good size pieces and nice tasty fries. Same names as famous Fast Eddies Bon Air but independent.

I finally went here for the first time recently, and it was alright. Wasn't sure about the history with the Fast Eddie's name or connection, as I assumed it was like its counterpart where they didn't take cards. It's not too far from the famed bar/restaurant, but in a sketchy part of Alton. You can simply park and walk up to the window and order. Or call ahead. There is no indoor eating. I got the fried chicken meal which came with fries. Soda was extra. I took it down to the river park and ate it. The chicken was good, crispy yet a little bland (should have asked for sauces!). Fries were great. For the soda, they give you small cubed ice, filled more than halfway in the cup. Would I go back? Probably. They have a decent menu, as in they don't just serve fried chicken. They do have other fried goods, as well as milkshakes and other things. And they don't just take cash, they do accept credit cards unlike the "other" Fast Eddies place in Alton.

Food is always good! Fast and friendly service. Just fyi... this is not a sit down restaurant. You can sit in your car or take it home but they do not offer tables. The food is well worth it though! Chicken tenders are always good. Located in an old part of Alton

Great spot to pick up fresh fried chicken. Comes with classic crinkle style fries. The price point is very reasonable. Call ahead and have it waiting for you. I recommend getting some of the honey hot sauce on the side. Cash only by the way!
